Here's a great song by American song writer Mickey Newberry. I suppose the lyrics are all about drugs, but I think they can apply to any mental condition really.. 'pushed my soul in a deep dark hole and then I crawled in'.. yes, sounds familiar.

This became a cult item after being featured in the Coen Brothers' film 'The Big Lebowski'. Released on Spotify / Apple / Pandora in Mono.
